David and I both agree that it is important to have "family traditions" around the holidays. It keeps everything fun and produces great memories.
One of our Christmas traditions is to build a gingerbread house around Christmas time. This is the 3rd year that we have done it and this time our gingerbread house has progressed to a gingerbread train.

Fun!!
We always watch "Elf" before Christmas. That's one of our traditions. We also get our tree up the day after Thanksgiving while listening to crazy Christmas music. We have a few others, but I'll save room for other people. ;)

Because I have a December birthday, when I was a little girl, we would always make gingerbread houses as a party craft. Such funny memories! They look yummy!
P.S. So proud of you for running the Thanksgiving marathon!!!!
